Ukrainian mobile broadband operator FreshTel expects to claim a first in the country with an imminent launch of mobile WiMAX-ready laptops in partnership with technology giant Intel. The manufacturer’s WiMAX adapters are integrated into four portable computers, fully equipped for use on FreshTel’s network.
FreshTel Communications Group – provider of mobile WiMAX services under the trade mark of FreshTel in Ukraine (Ukrainian High Technologies) and Russia (Inter-Project) – plans to provide internet access for 2,000 schools in the two countries.
